How to be good in minecraft survival and PvP

In our server (owner: AllenCC) mc.cosmicraft.com, They have a special thing called Minigames were we vs other people and get diamonds, you can play battleground (2 v 2) or you can play arena (1 v 1) The other ones are never used in minigames :P they also have Capture The Flag, only noobs  play that one though and they have team fortress 2 (which I think has never been used before xD) In minigames, when you are finished playing you can enter a portal to different places : Factions, TNT factions, mmo factions and towny. People take their diamonds with them and so they don't have to mine, but cmon, i don't think any other server has it because ours is special. But in other servers you have to buy them (donator) or mine them, If your server is an mmo server then this post is right for you, if its not, follow but take out the potion part. Well, here comes my story :) So one day in Christmas eve I was searching videos on Youtube when one of my father's friends came over and said "do you know about minecraft?" and of I said no. He explained to me what it was about and I liked it :) so he downloaded it for me, at that time mineshafter.info wasn't that famous so i had to download it from torrent, at that time minecraft was on one of its early versions, i think it was like 1.4.6 (really old) and i didn't know about building or even crafting, i seriously did not know how to make wood planks so i started to research on youtube and found out a little more, then i found mineshafter and when i did the latest version was 1.6, i liked it a lot more and i could actually play in survival (I still din't know about multiplayer cracked servers) but I had to play in peaceful mode so mobs wouldn't scare me, later on I found this awesome server. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~                     ...

Ok, so today we'll teach you how to get money in factions  * . * Money first: So, if you are in a faction server there must be a shop. You'll need you to check the shop and go to farming area, if there is one, if there isn't then you are not going to be able to get much money. Usually, in the shop you can sell the sugar cane and the cocoa beans, these are best to use . If there is these two materials  in your server then you can make a farm to provide you these materials. Also, on this post ill only do a sugar cane farm, i'll do a cocoa bean one on the next one ;) You will need: Sugar canes dirt/sand (dirt is better and less suspicious) water buckets (2)   This is a small example of a small sugar cane farm. To make money you will need one  bigger. You are probably asking yourself  "How can i make a farm with only 2 water buckets?" Well you can make an infinite water source: One water bucket in opposite corners and it will make it infin...

Do you guys know how I started to play Minecraft? Well, so at first I saw it was really popular in my school and in YouTube. I saw a video of it and I thought it SUCKED . It was the worst game I saw in my live, everything had cubes and blocks, the animals were weird and the players were ugly. Then a week after Daniel came up with this weird idea "Frank, play Minecraft, this game is really cool." I said "NOPE, IT SUCKS AND NOTHING LOOKS COOL!!!" He told me "Please, just try, I'll teach you and we'll play together  ;D" So I downloaded it in Mineshafter.com (Trust me, it was one of the best things I've done in my life) I went to "Multiplayer" because that's what my friend Daniel told me. The two first weeks Daniel was always killing me, stealing my "iron and gold" and  and not teaching me anything me. Then the SUMMER came and he went somewhere else, I kept playing Minecraft to show him I could be better than hi...

So, today we'll teach you some tips of how to more get players in your faction.  First of all, a "faction" is a group of players that join to team. So, you will first need to create a faction. To do this you can write in the chat "/f create "name"" If you want people to go to your faction, you will need to open the faction so more players can  join. To do this you will need to write in the chat /f open . This has risks because everyone will be able to join whenever they want to and they can raid your base (if you have one). So after you have all the players you want you can go a step forward, close the faction. This means that the players that want to join will need to request to "join", but the ones that already joined can stay in the faction. Let's go back to when you open the faction,  there are so many factions in the server that other players can't even know if your faction exists. So, to make people know your faction ex...

Ok, lets start, of course you are going to need a house, food and a weapon to survive or else you can derp and fist fight with zambies :p materials: obsidian (called obby mostly), ender pearls, diamond pickaxes and torches/glow stone. (Base,Chest Area and home) So if your playing factions you should take at least 30-60 minutes to get away from /warp wild or /spawn or what ever the place you can build a base on, if i were you, i would take a lot of ender pearls with you if able to, ender pearls take 2 and a half hearts of damage if no armor / bad armor is on so, if you have the armor frank showed you (the name has nothing to do with it, look at the enchants) then you'll probably take 0.01 damage (not even half a heart) so you run and jump at the same time (it is the fastest way for moving unless in a horse or with a plugin) and every time you are ready you throw an ender pearl, i would suggest to keep health on top of half if could just so if you get in a battle, so , when you fi...

So, here we'll show you some strategies for PvP. For example, when you are PvPing you need to move around the opponent, so that he gets confused of where you are. Also, don't move to the same way every time because the opponent will know the way you are going and he/she will  PvP you easier. So the whole point of this is that you need to move in both directions, for example, if you are moving to the right (around he/she) go to the left too so the opponent gets more confused. Another example, while you are moving around him, JUMP, when you hit the opponent while you are in the air you will make a "Critical Hit" this means your opponent gets more damage. Another example: Use potions, when you are PvPing someone the potions are very important because they help you a lot. Healing Potion  : Gives you instant health, this is really important because when you are dieing you can use this to regenerate fast enough to keep PvPing.
